Terms of Service

Last updated: June 20, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and The Automation Bureau B.V. (KVK no. 98237799), Hembrugstraat 11HS, 1013 WV Amsterdam, Netherlands, which operates Mockly (getmockly.com). By using Mockly, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What Mockly is

Mockly is a browser-based tool for creating mockups — realistic-looking screenshots and videos of chats, AI chats, social posts, comments, stories, and emails — for storytelling, tutorials, design, marketing, and similar legitimate purposes. The mockups you make are fictional illustrations, not real messages or records.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age in your country) to use Mockly. If you use it on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for them.

Your account

Some features require an account. Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information — you’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at maurice@getmockly.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

Mockly is for creative, lawful, non-deceptive use. You agree not to use it to:

  • Deceive, defraud, scam, phish, or manipulate anyone, or pass a mockup off as a genuine message, screenshot, or record.
  • Impersonate a real person, company, or brand, or create fake “evidence” of a real conversation or event.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or harm others, or create sexual content involving minors or non-consenting people.
  • Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, or break any applicable law.
  • Disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or abuse the service or its security.

You are solely responsible for the mockups you create and how you use, publish, or share them. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create and the images you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and render that content only as needed to provide the service (for example, to generate your exports or store them in a team library). You confirm you have the rights to any images, names, or material you use.

Third-party platforms and trademarks

Mockly lets you create mockups styled after various apps and platforms. Those names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and Mockly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. You must not use mockups to infringe a trademark, impersonate a brand, or suggest a real platform or company is behind your content.

Plans, payments, and refunds

Mockly offers free and paid plans. Paid plans (including subscriptions and one-time lifetime access) are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices and features may change, with notice for active subscriptions.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once access has been provided. Consumers in the EU/EEA may have a statutory right of withdrawal for certain purchases — contact us at maurice@getmockly.com and we’ll handle eligible requests in line with applicable law.

Our intellectual property

Mockly — the software, design, and branding — belongs to The Automation Bureau B.V.. These terms don’t give you any rights in it beyond using the service as intended.

Service availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Mockly available and reliable, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may change or discontinue features.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Automation Bureau B.V. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how you use the mockups you create. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.

Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service, including third-party claims arising from your mockups.

Termination

You can stop using Mockly anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. Sections that should survive termination (such as content licenses, disclaimers, and liability limits) continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes fall under the competent courts of Amsterdam — except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to rely on the law or courts of your home country.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, take additional steps where required. Continuing to use Mockly after changes means you accept the updated terms.
