Mockly

Mockly's iMessage generator builds realistic iPhone text conversations: blue and grey bubbles with real tails and grouping, read receipts, group threads, dark mode, device frames, 3D view, and PNG or video export.

How to make a fake iMessage chat

  1. 1

    Build the thread

Click to add messages. Switch to a group chat when the scene needs multiple senders.

  2. 2

    Match the iPhone details

Set the contact name and avatar, adjust timestamps, pick the read receipt state, and toggle dark mode.

  3. 3

    Export

Hit Export for a PNG mockup or an animated chat video.

What you can do with the iMessage generator

  • Blue and grey bubbles

Sent messages render in the real iMessage blue (with the subtle gradient shift down the thread); incoming messages are grey. Both flip correctly in dark mode.

  • Bubble tails and grouping

Consecutive messages group into runs, and only the last bubble of a run gets the tail, exactly like the real app.

  • Read receipts

Toggle "Read", "Delivered", or "Sent" under your last message, the same grey label real iPhones show.

  • The contact card header

Centered avatar above the name pill with a chevron, frosted-glass header and footer overlays included.

  • Group chats

Switch to a group thread with a custom group name, avatar cluster, and sender names above incoming messages.

  • PNG, video, and 3D export

Export a PNG, an animated chat video with typing indicators, or a 3D phone view. Floating messages supported.
